Poster presentation to the scientific community

The „Day of Hydrology“ (Tag der Hydrologie) is an important conference on Hydrology in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This year it took place in Bochum on the 22nd and 23rd of March and was hosted by the Ruhr University Bochum and the Bochum University of Applied Sciences. Christina Maus from the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences presented a poster on the topic “Modelling flash floods in data- and water-scarce regions like Jordan – a multi-model approach”. With more than 200 participants the event faced high interest, especially on the topics hydrologic extremes and urban hydrology. The CapTain Rain project was presented to the scientific community with fruitful discussion on possible model solutions and their input data for data-scarce regions.
